Ayurveda means the ‘knowledge of Life’ and is one of the most ancient systems of holistic self-healing becoming more and more popular in Western society. A sister science to Yoga, it focuses on all areas of health-diet, daily rhythms and life-style, exercise, detox, sleep and ‘THE MIND’.
Yoga and Ayurveda convey a strong message, they say that health is not ‘state’ where we rely on doctor reports and regular checkups but that is a continuous life process that demands full participation and embraces ALL aspects of our lives: physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, spiritual as well as familial, social and universal.
It takes ‘COURAGE’ and an amount of ‘EFFORT’ to go ‘against the grain’ of human and society conditioning. Recognize your power of healing within and you will be your own greatest doctor.
