Radiant Yoga is excited to bring you a breath-focused retreat guided by Zarah Boden and guest teacher Lori Sjollema.
The ancient science of the breath is returning with more relevance day by day, as the noise of the external world becomes louder, we are being called to quieten the internal, the mind. This is one of the first goals of yoga and the root causes of dis-ease in the body. The breath is the doorway. The breath is the power of the mind. Not only for physical health but for our full creative expression as embodied beings walking the earth. Breath by breath we remove the dense layers to reveal the lightness of the self. The self beyond the many layers of engrained belief systems, conditionings, and fears. Our essential self. It’s time to empower ourselves.

ZARAH BODEN
Coming from a background in dance, Zarah has always been fascinated by the grace, strength and intelligence of the human body and how closely this vessel is connected to the mind and inner being. Endlessly curious and highly sensitive to the world around her, Zarah came to yoga as a way of physical healing but soon realised it was so much more… an infinite internal world which spoke volumes with the power to access our highest potential.
Zarah is certified in Hatha, Astanga, Pranayama, Indian philosophy and Massage and uses elements of the fluidity and freedom of dance within her classes – Yoga also as an outlet and an expression of our true nature along with the traditions, that she is so passionate about keeping alive.

LORI SJOLLEMA
Guest Teacher
Lori has devoted herself to moving and learning about the body for over 35 years. Certified in 2000 as a Jivamukti Yoga Instructor, since then she has trained extensively in various yoga traditions and influences including Anusara, Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga. She is also a 500 hour certified teacher, having completed the 300-hour advanced Rasa Yoga Teacher Training with Sianna Sherman.
Lori teaches a flow-style yoga with deep respect to alignment and therapeutics. She skilfully weaves themes through her classes so that each student experiences a journey that goes beyond moving the body and instead moves deep into the heart. She teaches with sensitivity and strength inspired through the teachings of great master teachers to whom she is forever grateful.
